ABOUT alliance university

Alliance University is a Private University established in Karnataka State by Act No.34 of year 2010 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.

Alliance reimagines the idea of the university by creating a community that leads the charge against complex challenges of the 21st century. The University conceives research to be the essence of all teaching and learning practices. A unity between research and teaching is promoted to extend the frontiers of knowledge in order to solve real-world problems. For this purpose, the University seeks to be the nerve centre of interaction between the industry, the government, the civil society, and the community at large.

In times when technological and social change is transforming the very idea of employability, the University embraces the increasing diversity of specializations while retaining the impulse to unify all knowledge.

Alliance University is amongst the best private universities in the country, that promotes academics along with co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The University has always encouraged students to realise their full potential in the field of sports, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The aim to ensure that students grow up to become all-rounded leaders and responsible global citizens.

ABOUT AUSCC

In the words of a famous athlete, “Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever”.

Alliance University Sports and Cultural Committee (AUSCC) is the student body of Alliance University, driven by students who are passionate about creating a change.

AUSCC is the central hub of sports and cultural activities, constantly engaged in the creative pursuit of developing sportsmanship, leadership and camaraderie among the students of Alliance University and the community at large.

Alliance University’s vision is to be a world-class University that nurtures talent and catalytically transforms the lives of millions through excellence in teaching, research, service and community development. Mission

The mission of the University is to create and sustain a community of lifelong learners in an environment that emphasizes literacy, critical thinking, and humanistic and scientific inquiry.

The University provides a dynamic, challenging and ethical environment for pursuing high quality teaching, research, learning and service across all areas of University, where students, faculty and other key constituents can interact, collaborate and partner with the global community for creation and dissemination of knowledge and transform lives of people through innovation and excellence in higher education.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR AT ALLIANCE

Alliance University campus provides an ideal environment for young minds to explore new ideas, encourage creativity and independent thinking. It facilitates faculty to engage in research, staff to cultivate empathy towards students, and everyone to develop the twin qualities of life-long learning for yearning for learning. An array of events are organized through the year for students to take part and enrich their student life on campus. National days of importance and festivals are celebrated with great fervor. Students participate in several inter-university events enabling laurels to themselves and the University. Social outreach programs through volunteering programs, adoption of villages, plantation drives and awareness campaigns are organized periodically. Cultural activities and budding artists in various genres are identified, encouraged and provided opportunities to exhibit their skills. The University aims at providing well-rounded growth and holistic development to its student community and the activity zone is buzzing with students and their energies create an ambience of fun, frolic and healthy competition, creating individuals who are well prepared to take on life’s nuances.
